Grief & Loss
-
Grief is a natural and normal response to loss. While many people associate grief with death, loss can take many forms such as the end of a relationship, the loss of a job, or changes in health. Losses can be unexpected or anticipated, and both can stir deep emotions.
-
Grief can impact our daily lives, affecting our ability to work, care for ourselves, connect with others, and maintain both physical health and emotional well-being. It has no set timeline and looks different for everyone.
-
Therapy can be a safe and nonjudgmental space to explore and validate your thoughts and feelings. Grief can bring up a wide range of emotions (even ones you weren’t expecting). It can feel confusing, overwhelming, and complicated. Therapy can help you unpack what you're experiencing and make sense of it. It can also offer strategies and coping tools to manage the pain and discomfort that often come with grief.
