Three Apps to Help and Encourage You with Self-Care
As we wrap up the first month of the year, you might be feeling a little discouraged about your renewed goals or resolutions. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone! To help you stay on track, I want to share three apps that I’ve personally found helpful and have also recommended to clients—many of whom have shared positive feedback.
1. Clearspace – Reduce Screen Time with Intention
If you're trying to cut back on social media but, like me, tend to ignore built-in screen time limits, this app can help. It enforces restrictions while offering mindfulness and physical exercises to help you refocus. Personally, my social media use has dropped significantly—and to my surprise, I’ve survived just fine!
2. How We Feel – Understand and Manage Your Emotions
We’ve all had moments where we struggle to pinpoint exactly what we’re feeling—or what to do about it. This app is a great resource for better understanding and processing emotions. Whether you're just beginning your emotional awareness journey or talk about feelings all day (like a therapist!), it provides insightful reflection prompts and practical tools to help you navigate your emotions.
3. Finch – Self-Care Made Fun
Sometimes, we take better care of ourselves when it also benefits someone (or something) else. This app encourages self-care by assigning various activities that help nurture a virtual pet. As you complete small self-care tasks, you support and grow your digital companion, making it a fun and rewarding way to prioritize your well-being.
Note: This post is not sponsored or affiliated with any of these apps—just sharing personal recommendations that I’ve found helpful!
